Guohua Li, MD, DrPH

Dr. Guohua Li, MD, DrPH, is the M. Finster Professor in Anesthesiology and Epidemiology at Columbia University. Trained in medicine, biostatistics and epidemiology, Dr. Li is versed in classic epidemiologic designs and interested in population-based and policy-oriented studies using complex data systems and innovative research methods. He has directed several federally funded research projects and collaborated on a number of program, center, and training grants. Dr. Li has published over 130 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of injury epidemiology. Currently, he directs the Center for Health Policy and Outcomes in Anesthesia and Critical Care and teaches the accredited graduate course in clinical epidemiology. The recipient of the Kenneth Rothman Epidemiology Prize in 1999, Dr. Li is a Guggenheim Fellow and a fellow of the American College of Epidemiology.
